Ryan M. Fleming, CFP®, AIF®
Ryan is a principal of Armstrong, Fleming & Moore, Inc. He provides comprehensive financial planning services to individuals and couples, including guidance on investment, retirement, tax, estate planning, and insurance issues.
A native Washingtonian, Ryan and his family reside in Rockville. The household includes Ryan’s wife, Betsy, father Robert, and three dogs (Leo, Sami, and Biagio).
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys all things hockey (Let’s go, Caps!), technology and gadgets, and the frustration of chasing a little white ball around a well-manicured field.
Ryan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant, and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and holds FINRA Series 7, 31, and 63 securities registrations as a Registered Representative with Commonwealth Financial Network®, as well as various state insurance licenses. He is a member of the AFM Investment Committee.
Ryan previously served as president and chairman of the Financial Planning Association’s National Capital Area chapter, one of the nation's largest chapters. He is a member of the Economic Club of Washington and of the Washington DC Estate Planning Council. He has been quoted in many publications.
Ryan attended Montgomery College and the University of Maryland at College Park, with a focus on finance. Ryan worked his way through school as the manager of a liquor store (a fantastic job for a college student), a waiter for a variety of catering companies, and, most importantly, as an intern at Alexandra Armstrong Advisers in 1991, the firm that eventually became Armstrong, Fleming & Moore, Inc.
